ABOUT THE PATTERN

Inspired by the Greek and Roman use of the acanthus plant — a motif long celebrated in architectural carvings, classical columns, paintings, and ornate textiles — Filagree was born. For centuries, the acanthus leaf has symbolized enduring beauty and artistic refinement, woven into some of history’s most iconic decorative details.

Filagree offers a looser, more casual illustrative take on this otherwise formal motif. The lines feel soft and expressive rather than rigid, giving the pattern an airy elegance that nods to tradition without feeling heavy.   • Installing Your Wallpaper

    Our wallpaper is traditionally installed and arrives unpasted and pre-trimmed. We recommend using Roman PRO-880 Ultra Clear adhesive, which provides a strong, reliable hold while still allowing for easier removal later with little to no wall damage when properly installed and removed. Proper prep is key, noted on install instructions!

    Although our wallpaper can be installed by any handy person with some hanging experience, we do recommend having an installer hang your paper.

  • Batch + Dye Lot Notes

    If your order quantity exceeds the available stock, you may still place your order. In this case, the item will be considered made to order and will have an 8–10 week turnaround. This ensures your entire order is produced from the same batch, minimizing any potential, though minor, color variation.

  • Caring For Wallpaper

    You can wipe your wallpaper clean with a soft sponge or cloth with a mild soap and water. DO NOT use harsh chemicals, such as clorox and chemically based cleaners, directly or indirectly on your wallpaper.
