If you’ve noticed things have been a little quiet over here lately—it’s not you, it’s me. But in the best possible way. For almost a year now, I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on something big: a new way to bring my wallpaper into your world.
Say Hello to Wallpaper by the Roll
As of this summer, I’m officially making the switch from selling wallpaper in custom by the yard lengths to offering wallpaper rolls. The shift to offering wallpaper rolls brings with it a more industry-standard approach, one that opens the door to more design projects, more pattern lovers, and more possibilities. Whether you're a seasoned interior designer or someone dipping your toe into wallpaper for the very first time, this change is meant to make taking the leap more approachable in all the ways.

But here’s the heart of it: the switch to wallpaper rolls isn’t just a logistical update—it’s also a deeply personal one. Yes, of course my goal is to grow as a designer. I felt like I was in a fork in the road where I needed to take a leap and invest in myself (meaning, invest in inventory for wallpaper rolls instead of a per-job concept in order to lower costs for me so I can reach YOU). But further than that, I want to also leap into more hands on work with interior designers, collaborations, and definitely more homebody pattern lovers who are simply working on making their house a home.
The move to wallpaper rolls also brings with it a new manufacturing team based in Europe, and despite the distance, working with this team feels a lot like coming home. With nearly a century of experience in wallpaper printing, their studio is a beautiful blend of old and new. From time-honored analogue techniques to modern digital precision, they’re able to bring my designs to life with soul and craftsmanship I truly admire.
Thinking back to my own college days, I can practically smell the print lab just looking at these behind-the-scenes photos. If you’ve been around a while, you know I got my start as a letterpress printer in the stationery world. Seeing my wallpaper printed by industry leaders—who still carry forward these analogue techniques—makes my inky hands and heart so happy.

Although these patterns are digitally printed, each one has been thoughtfully enhanced to nod to those OG printmaking techniques—think block print, silkscreen, and all the soulful quirks that come with them.
You'll see intentionally distressed marks, subtle texture, and the charm of off-registration layers that give the work a lived-in, handmade feel. And just between us, there are plans down the road for something even more hands-on: an exclusive line printed with real blocks and plates, the old-fashioned way. Here’s a little behind the scenes on the design process.
I know it might not look like I’m doing much in the video—just a few clicks here and there—but what you’re seeing is me removing single pixels, adding gentle distress marks, and quietly fussing with the tiniest details. My goal is always to make digital color feel more like hand mixed ink: uneven in the best way, like it skipped or pooled a little as it passed through a silkscreen. I’m intentionally pulling bits away here and there to echo that imperfect, handcrafted feel—because to me, that’s where the magic lives.
Can you tell the difference between the left and right size of the pattern below? It’s subtle, but it matters. …or maybe I’m just crazy. Time will tell.

The Switch to Wallpaper Rolls: behind the scenes

Alongside the shift to wallpaper rolls, I’m adding four new patterns to the collection—each one a little love letter to old cities and its architecture, the Arts and Crafts era, and things that inspired me. From weathered facades to ornate ceilings and worn tile work underfoot (tile work is what inspired the Starlit pattern above), these designs are rooted in the magic of timeworn places.
Each pattern carries a story, a sense of place, and that unmistakable character that only comes from age and imperfection. I can't wait for you to meet them.
Sweeping Flora Wallpaper
Sweeping Flora is a delicate, tossed repeat of hand-drawn florals that feels both airy and organic. Its scattered layout makes it especially versatile—perfect even for ceilings—while offering a soft, feminine texture that brings subtle charm to any space.

Francine Wallpaper
Francine is a pattern inspired by the artist’s creative process during the quiet moments of Hurricane Francine. Drawn by hand in ink, the design embraces the tradition of quartering the pattern into fours, a method that adds balance and symmetry. This timeless approach creates a repeating, harmonious motif that feels both classic and fresh.

Voussoir Wallpaper
Voussoir, named after the wedge-shaped arch in classical architecture, draws inspiration from the artist’s travels and deep appreciation for old-world architectural details.
This pattern reflects the elegant lines and intricate forms found in the exterior of historic buildings, capturing the timeless beauty of archways, doorways, and stonework.

Starlit Wallpaper
Starlit draws inspiration from vintage tilework, echoing the architectural flooring found in historic buildings throughout the artist’s travels in Chicago, Nashville, and New York. The repeat features a playful geometric motif that brings dense balance and subtle structure to any space.

There’s something poetic about returning to the traditional roll format while collaborating with a team whose roots run just as deep as mine. It’s more than a business move—it’s a creative alignment.
Whether you are new here or have been with me since my bad instagram filter days, thank you for sticking around, for loving pattern as much as I do, and for wanting to make your home places worth staying in for.
WHAT'S CHANGING (and what's not):
What material is the wallpaper?
Our wallpaper rolls will still be offered on an uncoated non-woven vellum, the same material as before. Although, the matieral from a new source, so textures and colors may vary slightly from past samples and yardage.
What's the hanging process look like?
Our wallpaper rolls, just like before, are traditionally installed and will require glue. In our opinion, this is the best quality method and easier than peel and stick options. Our old line of wallpaper had a selvedge to trim. Our new wallpaper will not have selvedge to trim. Omitting the selvedge will definitely make the installs less labor intensive and more seamless (seamless ...lol).
What's the size of the wallpaper roll?
Our wallpaper rolls will have the same 27" width and come in lengths of 9 yards. The coverage is 60.75 square feet per wallpaper roll (give or take depending on the pattern).
What's the difference in selling by the yard versus by the roll?
Prior, we sold our wallpaper by the linear yard, which just means it was a per-job made to order process. Selling by the roll allows us to pre-make our rolls based on industry standards.
Samples, roll costs, lead times, and shipping:
Samples, like usual, will ship directly from the studio within a few days. Out of stock rolls will have a lead time of 4-6 weeks. In-stock rolls will ship within 7-14 business days. Because the new manufacturing process allows me to begin building up an inventory, this ultimately lowers my costs, which lowers your costs too. This is great for everyone.
