April | if walls could talk

Bless it. If my walls could talk, they’d be judging my behind close doors kitchen-dancing, questioning last night’s cookie stack, or concerned over what I consider appropriate amounts of coffee. March was a month of waiting, my friend, but wait no more. The NEW COLLECTION of wallpaper has arrived!

This month’s theme is around the idea that our walls have a story to tell. Without further ado, an introduction to a few favorites.

TOP THREE FAVES from the new collection:

MEET BLOCK PRINT NO. 01

If the above print, specifically in this space, could talk, I’m getting a piano bar, coffee shop vibe. The half-drop repeat of the print makes any framed art that sits on top an eclectic example of pattern pairing for the maximalist.

MEET PRIMROSE

Primrose is a nod to the block printing era. Like the above pattern, the half-drop repeat is structured enough to be a background pattern or statement piece in a room.

MEET FILAGREE

This dainty little floral filagree is inspired by the acanthus leaf. This leaf was used in lots of Greek and Roman architecture and a subtle nod to a bit of formality.

If these walls could talk, I feel like they’d witness a scene from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (a gem of a timepiece show), for sure a combination of wit & playfulness with a dose of formality and sophistication.

What would your walls say if they could talk? That they need more pattern play? Well, looky there…
